  • Trip inputs: destination, travel preferences, group size, and any descriptions you enter when generating an itinerary.
  • Generated itineraries: the AI-generated travel plans associated with your account.
  • Usage data: basic information about how you interact with the Service, used to improve reliability and performance.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the data we collect solely to provide and improve the TripSpark service. This includes generating your itineraries, maintaining your account, sending service-related communications, and ensuring the security and reliability of the platform. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

3. We Never Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party, ever. Your data is used exclusively to operate TripSpark.

4. Payment Data

All payment processing is handled securely by Stripe. TripSpark never stores, processes, or has access to your credit or debit card details. When you complete a purchase, you are interacting directly with Stripe's secure checkout. Stripe's privacy policy governs how your payment data is handled.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data and generated itineraries for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within a reasonable timeframe, except where we are required to retain it for legal or accounting purposes.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, please contact us at support@teachspark.app. We will respond to your request within a reasonable timeframe.

Legal basis for processing:

We process your data to provide the TripSpark service (contract performance) and to improve the product (legitimate interests).

Data we collect:

Email address, name, and trip content you generate.

Data retention:

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is permanently deleted within 30 days.

Your rights under GDPR:

You have the right to access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, request erasure ("right to be forgotten"), request restriction of processing, receive your data in a portable format, and object to processing based on legitimate interests.

Exercising your rights:

To exercise any of these rights, email support@teachspark.app. We will respond within 30 days.

Complaints:

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local EU data protection supervisory authority.

Payment data:

Payments are processed by Stripe — please refer to Stripe's Privacy Policy for details on payment data handling. TripSpark never stores card details.
